Crematorium commemorates three decades of serving its communities

A special event will take place at West Wiltshire Crematorium in May to commemorate three decades of serving its local communities.

A service will take place on Saturday 16 May at 12.30pm, led by Reverend John Darling, to mark the milestone.

The service will take place during a community open day which runs between 10am and 2pm, which will enable visitors to tour the 10 acres of beautifully maintained gardens as well as the welcoming and comfortable chapel.

Visitors will also have an opportunity to take a tour of the crematory, if they wish, and meet the crematorium’s friendly and supportive team.

Complimentary light refreshments will be provided by Just on the Hoof and Trowbridge Rugby Football Club.

Open days present the opportunity to visit the crematorium and its grounds in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and learn more about everything they have to offer.

“Visitors can meet the professional and dedicated team here, who take pride in providing exceptional care and support.

“It is an opportunity to ask any questions they might have about what we do, especially the various service options and funeral plans we offer to help with making the right choice for themselves or a loved one.”, added Ben.

The community open day is free of charge and there is no need to book in advance.
